We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation & Robotics Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for PLC programming, primarily Siemens S7, and taking technical ownership of designated project segments. You will engage in automation projects from conception to commissioning, ensuring seamless integration and independent problem-solving.
Your responsibilities:
  • [ Essential ] PLC programming, primarily Siemens S7.
  • Assuming technical ownership for a designated project segment.
  • Engaging in automation projects, encompassing the selection of control and communication systems.
  • Choosing appropriate drives and seamlessly integrating components.
  • Independently resolving technical challenges.
  • Overseeing and executing the commissioning of machines and automation systems, both at Pagero HQ and at client sites.
  • Performing modifications and retrofits to existing machine control systems.
  • Providing support in the conceptualization phase of new projects.
Our requirements:
  • [ Essential ] Proven proficiency in programming within the TIA Portal environment.
  • A higher technical education, with a preference for degrees in automation and robotics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or electronics.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the design and operation of pneumatic/hydraulic systems, sensors, vision systems, and safety systems within machine construction.
  • Demonstrated experience in commissioning control systems for various machines and devices.
  • In-depth knowledge of PLC-based control systems.
  • The ability to accurately interpret technical documentation and electrical schematics.
  • Willingness to undertake business travel.
Additional assets include:
  • Expertise and hands-on experience in the implementation of industrial robots.
  • Proficiency and practical experience in the implementation of servo drives.
  • Knowledge and experience in implementing traceability systems.
  • Familiarity and practical experience in implementing vision systems.
  • Knowledge of LabView.
  • Experience in programming Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi controllers.
  • Experience in designing safety control systems (aligned with standard PN-EN-ISO-13849-1).
